Nancy Pelosi (House Dem Speaker *Majority) and Chuck Schumer ( Senate DEM *Minority) Two life long, career politicians, made declarations of intent to weaponize the legislature if Dems ever regain the majority while they lead.
Their plan involves a number of bills but the most onerous is one called "The Equality Act"
This ACT will make your religous objection to, separation from, and or criticism of those not participating in your religon a federal thought crime. Effectively erasing the first ammendment.
It is a mechanism of law that would block judges from ruling to protect your First Ammendment Rights. It hijacks the civil rights laws of 1964 and converts them to apply any LGBTQ gender studies theory participants as a protected minority. This mechanism would make any type of religous objection to LGBTQ life styles a federal crime.

With the slash of a pen democrats will mutate a historic and just law. The 1964 Civil rights act was designed to DEFEND minority race constitutional rights. It would be weaponized and converted to ATTACK all first amendment freedoms under the guise of equality.
This law, if passed and enforced, would make your RELIGON federally prosecutable, and legally marginalized as a "racist" for creating any religous barriers to seperate yourself and organization from having to include and accomodate ALL aspects of the LGBTQ agenda.
Your religous objection, separation, and criticism for those not of your religon would be "Racist" criminal discrimination.

This is far more cynical and evil than that.
It would criminalize and erase any religous objection to new laws, medical procedures,
remove tax exempt status' based on compliance. Effectively destroying community church organizations based on their acceptance and teaching of these imposed strictures.

So: If this law were to bear fruit, and the social landscape was altered to erase religious discrimination from our society, what type of laws might be possible?
Any anti abortion law based on religous objections would be impossible.
Safe departure euthanasia clinics would be available.
Baking a cake would be mandatory.
Renting a cathedral would be just a matter of how much money it cost.
Critics of Islam would be jailed as racist.....

In Parting: You would have to believe in the tooth fairy to advocate for the "Equality Act" And If you did believe in her, the Govt would invest in brass knuckles to make sure you did not discriminate against Humpty Dumpty.
